louise-louise asked: Part four of four. What happened to it? I want part four.
Louise is referring to the four-part “Longest-Lived, Currently Active Cultural Influences” series from earlier this year. The first three were The Simpsons (~22 years), Carrie Brownstein (~13 years) and Patti Smith (~15 years). I kind of spaced out on the last one because right around the time I planned to post it, the long-lived currently active cultural influence in question turned up in the news in a major way that I thought might affect my thoughts on it. Maybe it did; I’ll mention it.
Anyway, I’ll post the finale later today.
