You already saw these vintage mugshots somewhere else on the internet. The (amazing) Minneapolis-specific ones have been floating around for awhile. You’re not reading South 12th for the links. 
But here is something you may not have known: Ma tells me the subcultural self-designation for these types of large-haired individuals in the mid- to late-1960s in Cincinnati was “hood girls.” As in “hoodlum.” I wonder if this designation was specific to Cincinnati, or if it was something Carol L. Andrews of Minneapolis might have called herself.
